If yes, you know that one of the main obstacles is to "quiet the mind". Usually the more people try to "quiet their mind" the more it becomes difficult to find "peace". It is why so many give up meditating while others try to find a radical technique to allow the mind cool down...

瞑想したことある？

したことがある人なら知っていると思うけど、瞑想の障害のひとつが“精神を穏やかにする”こと。普通は、精神を穏やかにしようと思えば思うほど、“静寂”を見つけるのが困難になるものなんだ。精神を落ち着かせる素晴らしい技術を見つけようと試みる人たちがいる一方で、諦めてしまう人がたくさんいるのは、そういうわけだからだ。

What is this "noise" in our mind? If we try to listen to it we find that it is like the lobby of a placement office, in our mind we have people of all ages and all educations waiting for a job, we even have creatures from other realms, angels, fairies, souls of the past, at all time our mind is more crowded than a big city main train station at a rush hour...

心の中の“ノイズ”とはなんだろう？もし聞くことができるなら、それはまるで職業斡旋所のロビーみたいじゃないかな。僕たちの心の中には、様々な年齢の、仕事に就けるすべての教育を受けた人々がいる。他の王国からやってきた生き物さえいる。エンジェルとか、妖精とか、過去の魂とか。どんな時も僕たちの心は、ラッシュアワーの大都会の主要駅よりも混雑している。

Our average daily life is the result of this chaotic interaction..
Now imagine if you could make a good placement, if you could find in this inner crowd the right person at the right time to make the job you need to do...And ask that person to work for you...

僕たちの普通の日常生活というのは、この混沌とした相互作用の結果…。ちょっと想像してみて。すごくいい職業を斡旋することができたって。この内なる喧噪の中で、あなたが必要とする仕事をやってくれるのにふさわしい人と時間を見つけることができたって。そして、その人にあなたのために働いてくれるように頼んでみて。

For example, you have an important meeting and you feel nervous, you go "inside" and ask for your inner expert to prepare the meeting with you. With you inner eye you let the dialog go, you listen to it and eventually you keep a notebook near you to write important ideas...

たとえば、あなたは重要な会議があり緊張しているとしよう。さあ“中へ”行き、自分の内なる専門家に一緒に準備をしてくれるように頼んでみるんだ。あなたの内なる目でダイアログを動かし、それを聞いて。そのうちに、重要なアイディアをそばにあるノートに書き続ける。

My readers know how much notebooks are important in my life. It is because I work a lot with my inner partners. If you look at my notes you will be amazed because you will see that almost all my books are already designed there...I myself feel amazed when I look back...

僕のライフの中でどれだけノートが重要かってこと、僕の読者の方たちは知っているよね。それは、内なるパートナーと僕が一緒に働いているからなんだ。ノートを見たら、みんな驚くと思うな。だって僕のほとんどすべての本が、すでにそこでデザインされているんだから。僕自身、読み返してみると、びっくりするよ。

How does that work? It is in fact very simple and pleasant and it is the key of access to creativity, imagination and channeling, it is why I chose this theme for my next Creators Workshop on the 31 of May...

PJ Event in Kiryu / ＰＪイベント in 桐生

"Okafuku" is a "Private Cultural Center" and "Japanese Tea place" in Kiryu. It is located in a beautiful traditional Japanese family house and operates on week ends.
Isao san and Haruyo san (Brother and Sister) do the artistic direction and in the Kitchen, the charming Mother prepares delicious home-style japanese deserts they serve with tea in front of the atmospheric garden (Reservations and informations : O277-43-2525)

“岡福”は桐生にある“個人カルチャーセンター”＆“甘味処”。美しい日本家屋の中にあって、週末のみオープンしています。イサオさんとハルヨさん（兄妹）がアートの采配をふるい、お勝手では、可愛らしいお母さんが美味しい自家製の和菓子を作っています。それが趣のあるお庭の前でお茶と一緒に出されるのです。（ご予約とお問い合わせ：0277-43-2525)

Next Creator's Workshop : How to use your different faces?／次回クリエイターズ・ワークショップ：あなたの様々な顔を使う方法

We often try to "change ourselves", to become an image like : a better person, a good Father or Mother, a good child, a good wife, and sometimes "a spiritual person", "a peaceful person",etc. And we fight hard because we think we have to "become ONE PERSON", almost always a "Good" person..., But the result is that we tend to never succeed...
And it is good news.
Why?
Because if we became "One person" we would be the most boring human being in the Universe. Imagine, always the same face...something like a robot...

But, look well, inside of us we have many persons, many faces, it is like a theater Play. For example, a mother can play with her child like a serious adult, she can also be a teacher and also a good child and a bad child, she can be a nice lover for her husband, a fun mother with her kids, ,...so many different combinations are possible. And they are all useful for a well balanced lifestyle.

If a Father uses just his "salaryman" face, his kids may not feel so much love from him. Even if he works hard for his family and thinks it is the best way to love them... Kids need their father to be able to have many faces : the good friend, the loving God, the thunder, the playful child, the magician,... they may also like him to be able to become a fragile human being sometimes and show his heart...

We have so many aspects inside us. If we do not welcome all of them, our life may become monotone, we may feel a lack of excitement and energy. Hopefully, we are not one person, we are millions of persons, some of them look good to us and they are others we do not even want to see. Those one we do not want to see can often become our best friends. We have to find them and talk to them...

To help us make our different faces communicate harmoniously there is a "Director" inside us.  He is like God, he is neutral and knows all our inner actors, he understands all our faces, even some faces we totally ignore. This Director is a very important part of us and very few people know him. You have to know that he is the part who can help us become more relaxed, more open and more creative because he is the one who knows the best how to make our different "faces" work together in peace for the creation of a joyful and exciting life.

僕たちって“自分を変えよう”とよくするよね。よりよい人間になろうとか、いいお父さん、お母さん、いい子ども、いい奥さん、時には“スピリチュアルな人”や“心穏やかな人”のイメージになろうとしてね。そして僕たちは“ひとりの人”…ほとんどの場合が“いい”人なんだけど、それにならなくちゃと思って、すごくがんばる。だけど、成功したためしがない。

それはいいニュース。

なぜかって？

僕たちが“ひとりの人”になったら、この宇宙で最も退屈な存在になるってことだから。想像してみてよ、いつも同じ顔…なんだかロボットみたい。

だけどよく見て。僕たちの中、僕たちはいろいろな人、いろいろな顔を持っている。それは劇場のお芝居のようなものなんだ。たとえば、お母さんはまじめな大人として子どもと遊ぶことができる。先生やいい子や悪い子にさえなれる。それにだんなさんには素敵な恋人、子どもにとってはおもしろいママになることも。こんなにたくさんのいろいろな組み合わせが可能でしょ。そして、それらはみんな、バランスのとれたライフスタイルに役立つものなんだ。

もしお父さんが、ただ“サラリーマン”の顔しか使わなかったら、子どもたちは愛情をあんまり感じないかもしれないね。お父さんは家族のために一生けん命働き、それが家族を愛する最善の方法と思っていても、子どもたちはいろいろな顔を持つことができるお父さんを必要としているんだ：いい友達、愛すべき神様、雷、遊び好きの子ども、魔法使い・・・時には、弱い人間であることができる、心を見せることができる、そんなお父さんも好きかもしれない。

僕たちは自分の中に本当にたくさんの側面を持っている。それら全部を歓迎しないと、人生はモノトーンになり、僕たちはワクワクしたりエネルギーを感じないかも。できたら、一人の人間じゃなく、何百万人もの人になれるといい。そのうちの何人かはいい人で、別の人の時は、自分で見るのもイヤな人間という具合に。この見るのもイヤな人間っていうのは、多くの場合親友なんだ。彼らを見つけて、話さなくちゃ。

この多くの顔たちをうまく交流させるために、自分の中に“ディレクター”がいるんだ。彼は神様のような存在で、ニュートラルで、僕たちの内なる俳優たちを全員知っている。彼らの顔を全部理解している、僕たちが完璧に無視していた顔さえもね。このディレクターはとても重要な役割を担っているんだけど、彼の存在を知っている人はほんの少しだ。彼こそ、あなたをもっとリラックスさせ、もっとオープンでもっとクリエイティブになることを手助けしてくれる役だ。なぜって、彼は、喜びに満ちたワクワクする人生を作るために、どうやったら僕たちの様々な“顔たち”を穏やかに共に働かせるかという最善の方法を知っているから。

あなたの人生で彼がどんな風に働いているか知るために、次の質問に答えてみて。

－自分のいろいろな顔を知っている？

－あなたが解放してあげないせいで、自分の世界に欠けてしまっている顔ってなんだろう？

－実際の場面であなたを助けてくれるだろう顔ってどんな顔？

－時々、自分の“想像の中の顔”を探索してみることはある？

－自分の中の“ディレクター”の使い方を知っている？
